M Squared was delighted to be approached by SPIE to participate in this year's Cold Atoms for Quantum Technologies Conference; one in a series of seven conferences taking place during SPIE Photonex + Vacuum Expo.
The main event runs from 5-9 October 2020 with the Quantum conference taking place over two days on 7 and 8 October 2020.
M Squared's Head of Innovation, Dr Nils Hempler, is not only a member of this year's organising committee for the Cold Atoms for Quantum Technologies conference he will also be hosting one of the sessions.
Nils, a driving force behind M Squared's dedicated quantum division, brings a wealth of experience in the engineering and commercialisation of high-end quantum products. M Squared is currently developing neutral atom and ion-based quantum computers, inertial sensors for gravity, acceleration and rotation as well as quantum timing devices.
The company has not only achieved several UK quantum firsts - the first commercial quantum gravimeter and the first commercial quantum accelerometer - this year also saw it release a range of quantum products and complementary optical systems and electronics.
Nils has enjoyed working with SPIE and a range of experts in the field to help bring together speakers to present during this two-day event, and you can join him as he hosts the live Speaker Q&A, Discussion, and Networking Session on Thursday 8 October at 5 pm (GMT).
