We're looking forward to taking part in the 2018 National Quantum Technologies Showcase at the QEII Centre in London on the 9th November - the fourth event of its kind.
The showcase is designed to be a platform where academia, industry and government partners demonstrate the progress they have made through participation in the UK National Quantum Technologies Programme. This five-year programme has been playing an important role in helping to facilitate the development and commercialisation of novel quantum science into the marketplace, boosting business with the aim of making large-scale societal impact.
Last year, M Squared demonstrated the UK's first commercial Quantum Gravimeter. This year, we plan to be in the exhibition area, and again demonstrating new technology that we have been working on. We will also be taking part in panel discussions on the importance of quantum technology to our industry entitled, 'Industry: Are you Quantum ready?'.
The Quantum Technology Showcase is organised by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council in collaboration with Innovate UK, the National Physical Laboratory, the National Network of Quantum Technology Hubs and other National Programme Partners who want to create a world-leading quantum technology community for the UK and establish a leading position in emerging quantum technology markets. The programme supports investments in research, innovation, skills and technology demonstrations to help UK industry to commercialise these new technologies.
