We are exhibiting and will be presenting at BETSE - the Bone and Enamel Tissue Science and Engineering event at the University of Leeds on Wednesday 13 December 2017.
BETSE 2017 is set up to respond to the ever-growing popularity of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine research and its importance in the healthcare sector. This meeting brings together clinicians, practitioners, tissue engineers, laser scientists and engineers
Key themes include:
- Regenerative bone, enamel, soft and hard tissue interface reconstruction and surgical technologies
- Materials issues and emerging engineering needs
- Emerging laser technology including those used for additive/subtractive manufacturing
As part of the meeting, Dr James Bain will be talking on the topic of 'Emerging Ultrafast Laser Technology for Novel Tissue Engineering Applications' which will take place at 1.55 pm. His talk will include a brief overview of M Squared’s activities in the area of laser source development for advanced biomedical applications, such as tissue engineering - covering existing product lines and emerging devices that are intended to deliver the necessary performance at a lower cost. He will also summarise the key outputs from completed and ongoing collaborative projects.
